Well, without your work the photographer couldn't have made you look good. The work seems really neat on the costume, I really like that. What did you make the costume out of?

WOW! Big WOW! I haven't worked with leather before and I am a bit afraid, since I don't know anything about it. I know you need lots of tools and the initial investment is pretty high.

The tools are cheap but the leather is not. I think thats why a lot of cosplayers shy away from it. I just love the authentic smell and feel of leather although I respect other mediums as well such as plastics, metal and wonderflex.

leather? makes sense! because you would want it to look scalely which leather gives that effect very well! nice! how did you get leather? when i tried buying it i found absolutely nothing! i wanted to buy leather in sheets but totally failed.......

I get a lot of it locally at Tandy Leather. We are fortunate to have one in my area. You can also order it offline from tandy or wickett and craig.

Remember, an artist is his own worst critic, trust me, I know. Most people won’t see any flaws in our work, but we do because we as the artist produced the work. We know where we goofed, fudged, or just plain made a mistake. So don’t feel bad, you are just like the rest of us artist. :D

Very well said. Its not up to me to determine if my work is any good anyway. Its up to the person viewing it, right?

Well we as artist still have our standards; otherwise we would never improve our work. As artist, we hold our selves to a higher standard (kind of scary really), always striving to make our work better, never satisfied with the end product. So your view counts to, its just we are harsher on ourselves is all. I don’t think you will have a problem with people liking your work anyways, it is just to spectacular not to.:typerhappy: Sorry for the rant.

I just use regular fiebings spirit based leather dye. Nothing special. Here's the Tandy leather Link but it can be purchased at other places.

Hope you know I am a huge fan of your work.
