Wow, this is incredible! Excellent work! I like that in this shot, we're able to see how you got a bit of a digit-grade look with the feet. Is this armor comfortable or easy to move around in? How long can you stay in it? Did you have to wear face paint around your eyes or is that just the shadow from the mask? Were the leather and rivets expensive? How long does all of that armor take to put on? Do you need help doing it? I'm very curious, since I'm trying to make my own dragon costume. Again, wonderful job! Keep up the fantastic work!
Thank you so much. My My you ARE full of questions. Here goes: The armor is very comfortable and it is fully articuated for full range of motion. I can stay in it all day at ren fairs and conventions and I have a blast everytime I wear it. I always wear face paint. Sometimes red sometimes black. Sometimes I do a scale effect. Since the helm flips up, I like to surprise folks. There is over 1500.00 in leather and materials in this suit so yes its not cheap. It only takes about 20 min to donn the armor but I do need help. I made a female version for my wife so we help each other.
I also have an Orc set in my gallery and I am currently working on a spider themed Drow armor set. Thanks for your interest.
No, we aren't tired of looking at your incredible creations. Even my Con kid, (Erin-Aru here on dA) admitted your costumes were " Yeah. fantastic." Of course, she's like 19. Naturally, I didn't get a snitch of emotion from her. Moms and older teen daughters? She acts like Mr. Spock around me. LOL!
She's a manga, anime, cos-play fan. She also posted some great photos of Mt. Rainier, snapped during a recent camping trip.
