Dragon armor-tail- close up shot of the tail and barbed tip prior to attachment to the cuirass.
Does it move fluidly or is it rather stiff? I plan on making one of my own but maybe with craft foam. Would love to know.
It is quit fluid and swings when I walk. There is a rope sewn inside of it to give it strength.
Hey how did you do this? lol ive been looking for something like this to make for a ren fair outfit. everyone has fox tails and i want something different, but i cant even think how this would be put together. looks amazing though
Its made of leather. Each piece is a separate piece of leather hand molded and linked together. There is a nylon rope inside of it to give it stregnth.
Looking good there reminds me of the barded tail Riddley had in super Metroid, looks cool good job sir
Thanks man. I never played super metroid. I think I played the origonal metroid back in the day. I do like the art in some of the modern day video games though. Lots of cool armor and costumes. Enough to inspire.
Yeah tell me about it especially Soul calibur 3-4 all the armors look awesome and very well thought out a functional, cause being a fighting game they had to design all the armor to be super dexterous and able to get maximum movement I used alot of those ideas in my Demon armor mainly the segmenting in the chest very simular to Rapheal's leather armor in SC3
After checking out the link, I see the similarity in the segmentation. I have a ps3 but I don't game that much. I have heavenly sword-there was some sweet armor in that game also.
Yeah I was playing SC3 at the time and was bored figure I'll build my first halloween costume, but I got a little inspiration from the Kinght of Skeleton from Beserk but it's all different just used them for a guide mainly, I don't have a PS3 to poor to afford those luxuries but I really never have much time for games these days.
