Dragoness Pouch Worn by Red-Dragon-Lord Dragoness Pouch Worn by Red-Dragon-Lord
Dragoness Pouch worn - The pouch can be worn on a belt through the belt loops. To wear it with her dragon armor, I attached some hardware to the belt loops so that it can hook to the D-rings on her corset. She can wear it on either side or in the middle if she chooses. Actually goes quit well with the rest of her ensemble I think.

Hello Pietro,

Thank you so much for the kind praise. I use regular ole solvent based dyes. They are Fiebings dyes. There are several online sources or they can be purchased through Tandy Leather. I use supersheen to seal the finish and give it a nice gloss

Some darn good work there on the pouch (and all the rest, haha, but this is about the pouch and not the armor) It looks really good and yet creepy at the same time. Looks professional as well.

You have a good eye- 3- 4 oz is exactly what I used.

i figured 3 oz because thicker would have been more trouble for the technique of sewing you used. The fact that the leather has to curb inwards.

I wasn't sure it would work even with this guage but it worked better than I figured. I did cut a groove on the flesh side where the fold was going. I think that made it easier.

Indeed. Well, in my experience, as soon as you change the leather, by this i mean, cuting through is with either the swizzle knife or with stamps (like the one used to make sales) it makes the leather a lot more maleable, as you experienced.

Perhaps this is a start of a collection of defeated foes. Soon she will have a bandolier of dragon heads wrapped around her. LOL

lol thats one way of doing it. I can only imagine how many hides were used, I know that armor, especially layered armor take soooo much leather to craft, so i admire your dedication and skill to the leathercrafting world.

@Anime: I second Maddog's comment. you should make full body armor as well. Make something to sell, even if full body is harder to sell then just head pieces it will eventually sell. Everything has its buyer ;)

Outstanding, really does fit with the rest of the outfit. As usual, the attention to detail is really remarkable. Another splendid piece of craftsmanship :D

Thanks. You say the nicest things. There were so many ways I could have gone with this. I considered a scaled egg pouch, a spikey dragon hide or just dragon styled layers. I plan to mkae another pouch for my armor set and am open to ideas. It will probably be the same size and I may use the base from this one but I want a different design.

I have been thinking on it, but to tell the truth, I have nothing that can top what you did. I even did a quick search and came up with nothing to even help me think of anything better. I will however keep thinking on the matter, and if I have an inspiration, I will pass it on to you. Don’t hold your breath however, last thing I need is your wife hunting me down because you died of asphyxiation.

LOL. The tongue was kinda an after thought. it does make the pouch easier to open. I had one design idea where the tongue was actually part of the closure. I may do it on the next one.

I like the new underarmor.

^^ The pouch is pretty nifty too. It's a lot smaller than I'd thought it was in the previous pics.

I made it a little bigger than the one I have. I was concerned that an oversized bag would get in the way but now I kinda wish I had made it a little bigger.

LOL. This picture is actually of a mannequin wearing the armor but I can see how it looks like someone wearing underarmor. She prefers the red fishnet as undergarment where I wear compression heat gear from underarmor under my set.

damn, haha. that is a manequin... Fail...

Anywho, I appreciate the craftmenships a bit more knowing that it's smaller. Details a much more difficult the smaller it is. And I messenger bag-sized back would probably get in the way.
