It does go well together. She prefers this color combo. I tried it in reverse but she likes it like this. Thank you so much for all your kind words of encouragement.

COOOL! <3 she's so beautiful & awesome ...she could be perched on a cliff like that w/ her arms folded~ and then unfold huge wings to fly down... and catch-- a good-sized fish... or anything she aimed for, i expect (:

Wow, that makeup scheme is a great addition! Seems almost a shame that most of it is covered by the mask, but the whole ensemble sure looks great.

I really like this makeup effect. We don't always do this elaborate of a makeup job ( for me its eleaborate. For a pro its nothing. lol) but this time and for the halloween weekend we plan to do it. This makeup effect was the reason I made the battle crowns to wear instead of the mask but we always seem to end up wearing the mask anyway. lol. Really appreciate your kind input, my friend.

lol, ahuh, definitely, especially after wearing makeup for 3 days straight through hot temperatures and all the sweating. We generally reapply it 2-3 times a day. I remove some after the event, once home I take an intense shower that leave thick black rings around the tub, LOL.. and still all my facial skin pores are gungked up with residual makeup.. ugh! Not pleasant. I'm actually thinking of eventually getting a high quality face mask made. Like movie quality. We've tried prosthetics so that we only have to paint/makeup small areas, but they are not confortable in the long run and applying the glue/gum is messy and discusting, especially when it makes your face sweat and it accumulated in it, not to mention a pain to remove. Leaves residue on the mask as well and after a few times the masks/prostithics don't stick anymore, lol.

Oh I wish there was an easier way to get cool creature effects. The quality silicon mask look great and are a breeze to put on but I would worry about getting the nose torn off a 600.00 mask but boy they sure look good!

Check out this company. They have a hefty price tag, but very much worth it. I saw the "Deep Spawn" mask model live at a larp this sumer and it was incredible, the feeling/touch and visual quality was insane. It was as if it was the guys real face or almost.

Very nice endeed. These are similar to the ones I was speaking of. Not too bad to drop a grand for the face and hands considering a full suit of armor is over twice that. My only worry would be durability. Silicon is really nice but they say its a little easier to tear. They are amazing to look at and touch though.

Thanks,my friend. I wish that I had a close up shot of the face paint. Its the second time I have tried this technique. She is very fussy about the airbrush close to her face but she is willing to concede that the result are worth it.

IF you go dark elf, you gotta have some spiders and spider webbs in there somewhere. Of course, thats mostly Drow. There are other dark elves other than drows. The dark elf I do is a vampiric blood elf so I guess anything goes. Skulls are cool and you are the Silverskullguy.

I was looking at red/black and brown color scheme with many blades and spikey effects to the armor. And I have a handcarved version of my skull logo I want to attach to the finished armor
