Shy Dragoness - Here is another great shot by the incredible Joshua Steinke. In this pic, the new makeup scheme that I am trying can be seen.
I love how the make up matches the red fishnet. Ahhh your work is all so fabulous!!!
It does go well together. She prefers this color combo. I tried it in reverse but she likes it like this. Thank you so much for all your kind words of encouragement.
COOOL! <3 she's so beautiful & awesome ...she could be perched on a cliff like that w/ her arms folded~ and then unfold huge wings to fly down... and catch-- a good-sized fish... or anything she aimed for, i expect (:
LOL. Knowing her it would be a full side of beef! She was very flattered by your sweet words.
I love the makeup. The way you incorporated the pattern of the fishnet into it really brings it all together.
Nice work love the new pics
What a fantastic idea with the fishnet to simulate scales. She looks awesome!
Wow, that makeup scheme is a great addition! Seems almost a shame that most of it is covered by the mask, but the whole ensemble sure looks great.
I really like this makeup effect. We don't always do this elaborate of a makeup job ( for me its eleaborate. For a pro its nothing. lol) but this time and for the halloween weekend we plan to do it. This makeup effect was the reason I made the battle crowns to wear instead of the mask but we always seem to end up wearing the mask anyway. lol. Really appreciate your kind input, my friend.
You leave me stunning with your leather work there, amazing just simply jaw dropping.
Well, thank you very much. We enjoy creating these armors as well as wearing them to events. Really glad you like them.
Love how the makeup is looking, really goes well with the costume. I definitely think you are on to something here.
ooooooh my. good looken if i mey say. :0 me and the furs will be at renfest on the 5ht.
Sweet! Thats on a saturday. We will be there. Look forward to seeing you in all your fur.
Great costume and make up, I think this is a lot of work to do ?
Thank you , Sonya. Yeah, It takes about 2 hours to do the makeup for both of us. Not too bad.
great work, im really liking the make-up
Thanks a lot, man. You know how much of a pain the make up is. I'm sure with your orc gear.
lol, ahuh, definitely, especially after wearing makeup for 3 days straight through hot temperatures and all the sweating. We generally reapply it 2-3 times a day. I remove some after the event, once home I take an intense shower that leave thick black rings around the tub, LOL.. and still all my facial skin pores are gungked up with residual makeup.. ugh! Not pleasant. I'm actually thinking of eventually getting a high quality face mask made. Like movie quality. We've tried prosthetics so that we only have to paint/makeup small areas, but they are not confortable in the long run and applying the glue/gum is messy and discusting, especially when it makes your face sweat and it accumulated in it, not to mention a pain to remove. Leaves residue on the mask as well and after a few times the masks/prostithics don't stick anymore, lol.
Oh I wish there was an easier way to get cool creature effects. The quality silicon mask look great and are a breeze to put on but I would worry about getting the nose torn off a 600.00 mask but boy they sure look good!
Very nice endeed. These are similar to the ones I was speaking of. Not too bad to drop a grand for the face and hands considering a full suit of armor is over twice that. My only worry would be durability. Silicon is really nice but they say its a little easier to tear. They are amazing to look at and touch though.
And another fantastic creation from el Maestro. xoxo
so many details, always mind blowingly so Maxx. And the face paint looks great too
Thanks,my friend. I wish that I had a close up shot of the face paint. Its the second time I have tried this technique. She is very fussy about the airbrush close to her face but she is willing to concede that the result are worth it.
very much so, And I want to go dark elf for my armor so I'll have to have skull features brushed on
IF you go dark elf, you gotta have some spiders and spider webbs in there somewhere. Of course, thats mostly Drow. There are other dark elves other than drows. The dark elf I do is a vampiric blood elf so I guess anything goes. Skulls are cool and you are the Silverskullguy.
