Great shot of Lugie, my greem Orc by Chris Hull photography. He did some post work on this shot and really brought out the details in the armor and mask. All armor made by me. Mask is by epic armories which has been altered by me. I added the war paint, peircings and stitches.
He looks like a goblin, not an orc.
Not at all. Well done. I even posted it on my Orc FB page and credited you as the artist.
Can you put a like to it here so I can see and like/share the page.
Aww man! I'm blown away! All of them are so good! I love the different styles! I made an album on my Orc group page and linked to the challenge page. Yours is definitely one of the top ones IMHO.
Thank you! I really like your ink drawing. Would you mind if I shared this on my FB pages?
That's a great picture
Indeed. I think it was more the photographer this time than my armor. Great photographers need great subjects to make the magic happen.
Excellent orc! i'm almost jealous. :jealous:
This year i'm going to conquest of mythodea with a whole new costume of shaman gobelin, so plenty of pics will be coming end of summer.
Do you have more pictures of this armour?
DUDE! Your Orc blows mine away! I cannot wait to see the pics from methodia. Talk about jealous! Methodia is a dream of mine.
Really cool, this looks awesome in b/w
Realising this is not b/w but ehm.. you know what I mean? xD
This really is an excellent shot to really showcase how you made this unique and your own...and so very realistic and breath-taking. Stunning!
Awww, thank you! Means a lot to me that you like him.
I love this orc character!!! Just the look of the costume really makes me want to hear the character's story because it's got so much life to it!
He's a rogue Orc. He used to work for Sauron but didn't like his treatment of him and his fellow orcs so he abandoned mordor and took a small tribe with him. His name is Lugie. His uncle is Hauq Kure who has more of a brown complexion and who escaped with him. He is an older, wiser orc with shaman type skills whereas Lugie is a straight up scrapper but a natural leader. They have mixed morals but not always totally evil. Its seems his tribe is growing. Next year there maybe even more orcs joining him at our local ren fest.
Oooooooh so he's LotR setting! Very nice! Kind of amusing but fitting orcish names there too I like it! I have a real love for shaman type creatures...if ever I do make a goblin, I'll have to make myself a shamaness. I love that you HAVE a story for this guy and one that continues to blossom with your group that is growing!
Wow.. you got yourself a great photographer, this shot is astounding!
He did some post work on this to bring out the details. I'm very fortunate to meet a lot of good photographers and have become friends with them.
Looks straight out of LOTR! I am in awe every time i see your work!
That is an honor indeed! The LOTR orcs are my faves. Not diggin the cgi orcs in the hobbit as much.
I think it takes away from them. I was scared of the orcs in LOTR and it was because of the make-up. At least Smaug looks awesome, they totally stole the color scheme from you
I actually haven't seen the second hobbit movie yet, believe it or not. I have a feeling that when I wear my dragon armor, I will be mistaken for Smaug, which isn't a bad thing.
You are absolutely a work of art! I am seriously blown away. I can't wait to be able to see this in person! I may cry. Not from being scared of course but just from sheer awe at the amazing job you did with putting this together! Insanely wonderful!
